Curia is a Portuguese village, located in the municipality of Anadia, where you can find the famous thermal baths with the same name. A place of great demand in the first half of the 20th century, with Belle Époque and Art Nouveau architecture being very present, it returned to being, after some recovery and investment programs, a sought-after place, not only for treatments but also to relax, stroll, enjoy from several sports venues and also for its nightlife.
The thermal waters of Curia are of sulfated calcium and magnesium nature and are especially indicated for the treatment of metabolic-endocrine diseases (namely gout), kidney stones and urinary infections, arterial hypertension, rheumatic and musculoskeletal diseases, with different forms of treatment. which are available in the thermal baths, such as oral intake, immersion baths, various shower techniques, hydromassage, swimming pool, moist heat, among others.
The Curia hot springs are one of the oldest spas in the country and have been known since the time of the Roman occupation.

Patrimony
Parque das Termas - Park with about 14 hectares that surrounds the thermal complex and the Hotel das Termas, where, among the beautiful forests and gardens, you can find picnic areas, tennis courts, a maintenance circuit, and a lake artificial with about 1 km² that, when it was built, became the largest artificial lake in the Iberian Peninsula, and where you can make calm boat trips or "seagull".
Palace Hotel da Curia - Art Nouveau hotel opened in 1926. Among the various facilities, the Olympic size pool, built in 1934, stands out, being the second oldest in the country.
Hotel do Parque Curia - Art Nouveau style hotel built from scratch for hotel and in operation since 1922.
Railway Station - A prominent station in the region, richly decorated with tiles depicting traditional local activities, such as vintage and roasting of the Bairrada piglet.
Golf course - In operation since 2004, with 9 holes and crossed by the Cértima River. It is the latest tourist infrastructure in Curia.
