Válega is a Portuguese parish located in the extreme south of the municipality of Ovar, district of Aveiro, with an area of 26.64 km², 6827 inhabitants, and a population density of 256.3 inhabitants / km².
The attractions of the village include tiles, fountains, and religious monuments, such as the Mother Church and the Sanctuary of Nossa Senhora de Entráguas
.

The current building was begun in 1746, but the work took over a century to complete. The church is extensive and high with a bell tower integrated with the façade. The façade is completely covered with polychrome tiles laid in 1960 from the Aleluia factory with figurative themes of biblical origin. The interior, also covered with polychrome tiles, has a ceiling covered exotic wood, donated in the mid-twentieth century by the Oliveira Lopes family. The stained glass windows, designed in Madrid and from the 1960s, were donated by the Commander António Augusto da Silva.
