Sever do Vouga is a Portuguese village, belonging to the district of Aveiro, located in the Center region, sub-region Region of Aveiro, with about 2 700 inhabitants.
It is the seat of a municipality with 129.88 km² in area and 12 356 inhabitants (2011), subdivided into 7 parishes ( Cedrim e Paradela; Couto de Esteves; Pessegueiro do Vouga; Rocas do Vouga; Sever do Vouga; Silva Escura e Dornelas; Talhadas ). The municipality is limited to the north by the municipality of Vale de Cambra, to the east by Oliveira de Frades, to the south by Águeda and to the west by Albergaria-a-Velha and Oliveira de Azeméis.
It is located about 30 km east of Aveiro, 70 km south of Porto, 70 km north of Coimbra, and 60 km west of Viseu.
